Elizabeth "E.B." Watson

E.B. is a Virginia native and a fifth generation farmer.  She grew up on her family's dairy farm in Bedford, VA which is where her love and passion for agriculture first originated.  E.B. is a graduate of Peace College, a women's college in Raleigh, N.C., that taught E.B. how to turn her passion and love into action and is where her leadership skills were first formed.  After graduating college, E.B. chose to return to Bedford to serve her local agriculture community, and began working at her local Soil and Water Conservation District, Peaks of Otter.  E.B. has since worked her way into the District Manager's position, and is the first woman to hold that position at Peaks of Otter SWCD.  In her free time, E.B. enjoys making alpine cheeses and other dairy products with her #1 taste tester, her dog Kentucky.
