Sara Williams

Sara is a native of Lee County. She received an MBA from Virginia Tech in 2001 and a Bachelors in Business Administration from UVA-Wise in 1999. Since 2004 Sara has worked for the Virginia Tobacco Revitalization Commission where she serves at the Southwest Regional Director and manages the operations of the Commission’s Southwest Virginia office in Abingdon. In this role she has had the privilege of administering TRRC grant awards for over 900 projects focused on the economic revitalization of the SWVA region. Through this work Sara has gained an appreciation that agriculture has always been, and will continue to be, a key element of the region’s economy. Sara lives in Bristol with her husband Wes and their children Philip and Julia.
