Bobby Drumheller
Bobby Drumheller is from Swoope, Virginia, in Augusta County, where he grew up working on his family’s beef cattle farm. Bobby attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. In 2006, he began working for the Headwaters Soil and Water Conservation District in Verona, Virginia, where he worked with local ag producers to benefit water quality. In 2009, he started a job with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), a USDA agency that also helps farmers implement practices that improve environmental conditions. Bobby worked full-time for NRCS for 10 years then transitioned to a part-time position so that he could help manage a food quality consulting business with his father. In 2020, Bobby became a director for the Headwaters Soil and Water Conservation District in order to serve the community and the agency that helped launch his career. Bobby currently resides on the family farm in Swoope with his wife, Kelli, where they operate a cow/calf herd.
